Connect Google Sheets to Claude

Most spreadsheets get into Claude one of two ways: a one-time file upload that goes stale, or cell ranges copy-pasted into the chat. Synquil keeps a synced copy of the sheets you choose, so Claude is always reading your latest numbers — no re-upload, no re-paste.

How it works

  1. Connect Google Sheets. Authorize read access over OAuth and choose exactly which spreadsheets to sync — Synquil never sees sheets you don't select.
  2. Synquil syncs and structures the data. Selected sheets are pulled on a recurring schedule and organized into a queryable schema.
  3. Add Synquil as a connector in Claude. From Claude's connector settings, paste your Synquil MCP URL and authorize. No API key to manage.
  4. Ask Claude about your spreadsheet. Claude queries the synced data directly and reflects the latest sync, every time.

Example questions you can ask Claude

What's our total pipeline value by stage, pulled straight from the Deals tab?
Which rows were added to the "Weekly Ops" sheet in the last 7 days?
Compare this week's numbers against last week's in our KPI tracker.
Flag any row in the budget sheet where actual spend is more than 10% over plan.

Where this is most useful

Teams that keep a working source of truth in a spreadsheet — a fundraising pipeline tracker, a weekly ops scorecard, a budget model — get the most out of this connection. Instead of someone manually summarizing the sheet for a Monday update, Claude can answer questions about it directly, and the answer changes as the sheet does.

Stop re-pasting your spreadsheet into Claude.
